How Green is my Building Green Roofs, Facades & Waterproofing - 2 formal CPD points

March 5, 2019 5.30 - 8pm
Mezzanine level, 50 Margaret Street, Sydney.

Is there anything that catches the eye more than living foliage growing on city buildings? The range of colours and textures brings natural beauty to urban buildings .... and it makes us feel better and less stressed!

There are also ecological benefits - absorbing carbon dioxide, reduce stormwater runoff, limiting heat absorption, lower heat and cooling costs, longer roof life and providing habitats for insects, birds, and other wildlife.

At this seminar you will hear from presenters with lots of knowledge and experience working with green roofs and facades. Subjects to be covered include:

  • Design of green roofs and facades

  • Waterproofing issues and membrane selection

  • Plant selection for urban Australian conditions

  • Drainage requirements and specialist irrigation systems

  • Water harvesting and recycling

Cost to attend is $65 plus GST, or book a group for 10 for $550 plus GST.

If you can't join us at Sydney event you can come along to our other events:

Canberra - 6th March, 2019

Melbourne - 12th March, 2019

Hobart- 14th March, 2019
